Our Gender-Affirming Voice Teacher Certification is designed for vocal coaches, speech therapists, and educators looking to specialize in gender-affirming voice training. We offer 2 levels of training: Theories Level and Advance Teaching level. Student must complete the Theories level before moving on to the advance level. We provide the essential tools to help students develop a voice that aligns with their identity—safely and sustainably.

Our Gender-Affirming Voice Teacher Certification is designed for vocal coaches, speech therapists, and educators looking to specialize in gender-affirming voice training in 8 lessons. Whether you're new to this field or an experienced teacher, this course provides the essential tools to help students develop a voice that aligns with their identity—safely and sustainably.
Note: Student wishing to become a Trans Voice Lab certified teacher is recommended to have completed or in the process of completing a undergraduate or graduate degree in vocal performance, voice education, SLP or any related degree in voice.
Application Process
To ensure prospective students have the prerequiste knowledge to succeed in the program, we require a simple application
1. Fill out the application form with your personal information, a professional resume and a brief description of your experience and qualifications.
2. If accepted, you will receive an invitation for an online interview. Use the schedule to find an availability.
3. During the 30 min interview, you will have the opportunity to share your experience as a teacher, SLP or what your qualifications are if you don't have any of those experience. You will also teach a short mock lesson to the interviewer to demonstrate your abilities as an educator. We want to see whether you have the abilities to excel in the programs.
4. We will notify you if you are qualified for either of the programs and send you a link for lesson sign ups.

FAQ
The Theory level is for all teachers who want to learn the fundamental theories that can change a person's gender expression. You will learn the ins and outs of how gender expressions are shaped. After the lesson, you will be able to apply the knowledge and begin your career as a gender affirming coach.
The Advance Teaching level is for teachers who are already familiar with the fundamentals of gender affirming vocal training but who want more guidance on dealing with complex cases such as correcting faulty vocal functions and dealing with mental trauma. Teachers will also recieve guidance on how to expand their practice through strategic business skill development.A student's eligibility is dependent on their previous experience as an educator. Both programs are highly technical. For the Theory Level, while not required, we recommend it for students who already have some experience in voice as a teacher or as an SLP.
For the Advance Teaching Level, we require the teacher already familiar with the gender affirming techniques and already have experience as a teacher.
However, if you believe you are qualified for the program without the previously mentioned experience, we also encourage you to participate.
Lessons are conducted based on the student's availability. The lessons can be conducted daily or weekly. However, student must finish the program no more than 16 weeks for the Theory level and 32 weeks for the Advance Teaching Level.
FOr the
After completion of the program, you will be certified as a Trans Voice Lab Certified Teacher. The certification adds credibility to your practice which is crucial if you are looking to apply for jobs and enrich your resume.
You will receive a "Teacher Certificate" after completing the Theory level certifying your knowledge in being able to teach gender affirming voice at an entry level.
You will receive a "Master Certificate" after completing the Advance Teacher level certifying you as an expert in the field.
